While his extra heads made him a triply good guard dog, he did chew through a lot of sandals. This West Coast IPA is Emerson's triple dry hopped tribute to the hound of Hades. They've used four different breeds of hop, Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe and Mosaic, to create this boisterous mutt, with a fruit salad bomb of flavour. At 6.7% you might want to share it with at least one other head.

First off they're dropping in with the legends at Mt Maunganui's Mount Brewing. Since both head brewer's have polish roots, the idea of a Grodziskie-style Smoked Ale drifted by. Brewed for annual West Coast IPA Challenge The Malthouse 2020. Using English Golden Promise Malt and loaded it with Simcoe, Mosaic and the new (and finally) named hop Nectaron (formally Hort 4337). Giving you pineapple, stonefruit and piney flavours. All work and no hops makes Churly a dull boy. Well a lot of work and a lot of hops have gone into the beer, enjoy!
