Dense, sustained ruby/garnet. Dizzingly aromatic, swells from the glass: indurate spice - clove, cumin, caraway, cassia; ripe and bright red fruit - raspberry, redcurrant, Morello cherry. Quite a head-spinning, aromatic ride. Penetrating, juicy, sappy, brisk yet enveloping; vibrant flavours of red fruit and spice; also a lively earthy component that is relatively new to this vineyard, arriving in recent vintages: born of vine age and a deeper root structure, no doubt. One could hardly ask for a more invigorating, seductive, and briskly legitimate example of this wine.

Deep crimson red with purple hue in colour. A deeply perfumed nose displaying blackcurrant and plum, complimented by vanilla and cedar aromas from oak. The rich, rounded palate showcases vibrant plum and dark berry fruits. The finish is long with fine silky tannins adding length . Perfect with grilled duck breast with sour cherry glaze. Beef and porcini mushroom casserole. This wine has the flavour, structure and balance to be enjoyed now or offers added satisfaction from further cellaring.

Intense red with purple hues. Intense youthful fresh ripe berry fruit flavours with some well integrated vanillin oak. Full bodied dense ripe berry fruit flavours balanced with vanillin oak but yet long and smooth. Serve with a red wine casserole or a juicy steak with red onion jam. Land that was once a high country sheep station is now a flourishing vineyard. Sheep and rabbits co-existed on the land for quite some time but the sheep couldn't keep up with the nocturnal activity of the rabbits, and in the end were driven off the land. Rabbits now run free on the vineyard and fuelled by high altitude Pinot Noir, some are reputed to be the size of ponies, but that's another story... The Rabbit Ranch Pinot Noir is made in a very soft, fruit forward, low tannin style - a wine to be savoured and supped, rather than an assault on the senses.

Rapaura Springs Reserve wines are expertly crafted from selected vineyards with impressive flavour concentration and palate weight. Reserve wines define their region. Lovely ripe berry and dark cherry fruit notes combined with attractive smoky and spicy elements. Fleshy berry fruits and spicy oak nuances are to the fore on the full, rich palate.

Malbec is the Argentinian most emblematic grape and Hey Malbec! is a great interpretation. Red fruits combine with floral aromas and black pepper. The wine shows soft and ripe tannins that leads to a sweet and opulent finish.

Dark ruby red in colour, this wine opens up with aromas and flavours of ripe black cherry and raspberry. Ageing select lots in rum barrels enhances the notes of baking spice, brown sugar, vanilla, and cocoa when added to the final blend. Dark chocolate notes carry through to a long, lush finish. A superb accompaniment to spiced meats and poultry, Brie with fig jam, and chocolate desserts.

Rockburn's 'hands-off' approach delivers a pure expression of Central Otago to your glass; an expressive nose and deeply fruited palate displaying vibrant notes of red and black cherry, rich mocha and supple, silky tannins leading into a very long finish. RUA Pinot Noir has a rich and generous palate, with black cherry, raspberry and plum notes supported by vanilla and classic Central Otago dried herbs. A subtle spiciness adds to the complexity. The silky tannins are well integrated in this fresh and vibrant Central Otago Pinot Noir.

Purplish-ruby-red in colour with intense fresh fruit aromas of blackberries, plums and damsons with toasted vanilla. The nose follows through to the palate resulting in a fruit driven full-bodied wine with mocha flavours.
