Ron Mocambo Art Edition 20 year old shows a unique, deep brown colour from prolonged aging in oak. Aromas of dried fruit, like raisin, prune are clearly evident, and to a lesser extent one detects a hint of anise, cut hardwood (walnut), and a trace of Madeira-like sweetness. The medium bodied rum tastes of leather, tobacco, charcoal, and a slight bit of anise. It finishes a bit dry after some lingering, and it tapers well. Magnificent and exclusive creation. Russell's Reserve 10 Year Old from Wild Turkey has been matured for a decade in heavily charred casks giving it a massive palate, yet leaving it deceptively smooth.

This whisky has, unusually, been distilled using peated malted barley. The GlenDronach 'peated' pays homage to the peat historically used to dry malted barley in the traditional floor maltings. Matured in bourbon casks followed by a second period of maturation in the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks.
