The selected taste nuances are more strongly accentuated in a way that is not found in the regular bottlings, but with fully maintaining the original character of these fine single malts. From the highest distillery in Scotland comes this Oloroso finished Exotic Malt. Smooth and richly satisfying, with intriguing tropical notes from the Oloroso Sherry.

Aged in Otago Pinot Noir barrels, sourced from the Maude Vineyard in Wanaka. This reddish-amber whisky delivers a fruity aroma and a smooth yet complex flavour profile. Aromas of chocolate-dipped ripe cherries, hot cross bun, fig, blackberry, a touch of oak, almonds and vanilla greet the nose. The flavor follows with chocolate-dipped cherries, black currents, raisins, vanilla, and nutmeg, backed by smooth mouth-filling tannins and chocolatey oak.

A perfect introduction to Fettercairn - After years of maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, this 12YO is the colour of sunlight and amber honey. On the nose notes of vanilla and pear, with soft spices. The palate reveals refreshing nectarine and tropical fruit flavours, finishing with sultanas, roasted coffee and black toffee.

Each release of Fettercairn 16 year old single malt will showcase a maturation journey that enhances the tropical distillery character derived from the copper cooling ring distillation process. The 2022 release brings together spirit from Sherry matured and Sherry finished casks. A hand-picked trilogy of 1st and 2nd fill Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and ex-Bourbon casks finely balanced to accentuate the beauty of the tropical house style.
