The wine shows a complex interplay of tropical fruit characters with elements of passion-fruit, mango and paw paw, supported by impressions of ripe gooseberries and dried herbs. It is fruity and mouth filling but yet has a refreshing spine of crisp acidity which keeps it focussed and helps draw out its length.

By Josh Scott Natural is winemaking in its rawest form: wines are dry farmed, with no herbicides or pesticides used during the growing process and no finning or filtration in the making. Gravity and time help with clarification of the wines. This is a soft and textured savvy. Very rounded and moreish.

The harvest from these parcels is always carried out later because of the dominant varieties, Cabernet Franc & Cabernet Sauvignon. Careful vinification gives this wine depth, elegance and length in the mouth. The floral bouquet of the Cabernet variety is predominant in the wines youth but develops later towards the more complex aromas of a Grand Vin de Bordeaux. Beautiful deep colour with purple tints. Focused and fruity nose with faint toast in the background. The same fairly elegant aromatic combination flows through to the palate. A very accessible, supple, crisp Bordeaux.

Immediately warm and appetising, this deliciously harmonious blend of two classical Bordeaux varieties showcases boysenberry and blueberry fruits enveloped in soft caramel flavours, complemented with spicy leather and earthy musky violets.

Very dark purple-blue colour. Muted on the nose with scents of black fruit and garrigue. The palate reveals greater personality and typicity. Lovely finish of black fruits and liquorice.

A smooth, refreshing white wine with aromas of peach and spice with ripe fruit flavours.

Satin textures and medium acidity on the palate lead in to flavours of citrus, pear, white flowers then apple and white spice.

Mount Michael Pinot Gris is crafted with pristine fruit, hand-harvested from 16-year-old vines in the Queensbury sub-region of Central Otago. It shows lush aromatics of ripe pear, ginger spice, figs and rose petals, which flow through to the palate. Mouth filling weight and texture are balanced by the citrus-like acidity and long dry finish.

Aromas of ripe red fruit such as plums and raspberries, complexed by delicate chocolate and vanilla provided by the oak.

Earthy aromas of savoury oak, dark cherry chocolate and stewed rhubarb with spice and cinnamon over a robust and generous body. Leaving a persistent lingering silky finish.

The nose reveals gourmet aromas of small red fruits. An aromatic and gourmet rosé, well balanced and seducing, with notes of apricot and fresh raspberry.
