100% of the fruit for this Chardonnay came from McManis' very own River Junction AVA, located at the confluence of the San Joaquin and Stanislaus Rivers. Light golden straw in color with bright fruit aromas of pear, melon, and peach. The palate is driven by notes of stone-fruit, banana, vanilla, and a hint of buttered popcorn. Two Gates vines are planted on classic Hawke's Bay river terraces, chosen for their cool nights and low rainfall. Grapes grown here will continue to exhibit finesse, balance and complexity as the vines age and their organic approach builds the uniqueness of these handcrafted wines. This Syrah is complex and beautifully elegant with aromas of ripe black fruits and wild thyme. The palate follows through with bright red and black fruit flavours, a refined acidity and a savoury finish. The tannins are fine-grained and add a beautiful structure and length.

The unique terroir where the Stoneleigh Vineyards lie defines the wine's independent qualities. Located on the northern side of the Wairau Valley, in close proximity to Marlborough's main river, the Wairau, the vignerons have located the vineyards on shallow rock and gravel-exposed soils. These soils, low in nutrient and water-holding capacity, coupled with the terroir's warmer climate and high rainfall add up to produce a wine with its own unique sense of 'place'.

This wine displays a bright brick red colour, lovely Shiraz spice, plum and red cherries with a hint of ripe apricot. The palate exhibits lovely spicy red fruits, coupled with ripe tannins and enhanced by medium toasted oak.

The bouquet showcases red rose, spice, cherry and mulberry, with hints of cedar. The palate is full and generous, showing great texture and mouthfeel, it displays liquorice, spicy black plum, red currant, and blackberry, with a tinge of pepper.

A soft and gently rounded palate with ample rich fruits smoothly laced with bucolic tannins and framed by a keen keel of stirring acidity. Plums and blackberries return along with hints of milk chocolate. The giving blackberry and plum fruit is perfectly counter-weighted by the strangely reassuring gruffness of the tannins.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. Roaring Meg Sauvignon Blanc is reminiscent of Central Otago. Lifted and vibrant notes of guava, passionfruit and pineapple with fresh herbal elements give this wine its classic Sauvignon Blanc profile. Juicy, ripe and bold flavours race across the palate, followed by a mineral and saline finish to lengthen the palate. Best enjoyed with Bluff oysters.
