Our flagship wine, this is a fruit-driven and expressive Sauvignon Blanc, grown from premium vineyards across the world-famous Marlborough region of New Zealand. Perfect with seafood, salads, and goat cheese.

Ripe stone fruit aromas of peach and nectarine, with notes of ripe mandarin freshly baked brioche, nougat, vanilla and a hint of clove, add to the complexity and interest on the nose. A silky attack with sweet fruit flavours of peach nectarine and clove in the rich textural mid palate and with hints of nougat and vanilla balanced with fine oak and lingering grapefruit citrus finish.

Deep fuchsia in colour with purple violet undertones. Concentrated black current nose with lifted, sweet raspberry lemonade aromatics. The palate is full and generous with juicy berry fruits and tingling, spiced fine tannins.

A refined, mineral-driven expression of unoaked Chardonnay, crafted with over 240 years of Burgundian expertise. Opening with bright notes of green apple, lemon zest, and wet stone, it delivers crisp acidity and flinty freshness that reflect the limestone-rich soils of Chablis. Fresh and precise on the palate, this elegant white wine offers graceful length and a beautifully balanced, harmonious finish. Versatile and food-friendly, it pairs effortlessly with seafood, poultry, and light dishes.

Aromas of dark cherry & plum. Chocolate vanilla and liquorice notes. Medium Bodied, dark berries and plummy flavour, soft, round, juicy palate. Underlying oak. Firm fine tannin structure.

On the nose there are aromas of citrus, as well as honeydew melon and some stone fruit (peach and nectarine). In addition there is a hint of struck match which adds complexity and a flinty minerality. The palate is concentrated with refreshing acidity and a lingering finish.

The palate is generously full and fruity with plush velvety tannins that lead on to a lingering tangy aftertaste. While ready to drink on release we expect this wine to improve for several years and live for well over a decade with careful cellaring.

Upon release the wine is bright ruby in colour. There is a teasing array of vibrant red fruit on the nose including raspberry, pomegranate, cherry and plum. Spice and herbal notes, as well as a savoury underlay, add to the wine's complexity. While the palate has generous fruit weight and velvety tannins, it is balanced with refreshing acidity and a structure that gives the wine classic North Canterbury tension and pinosity.

Upon release it has a subtle lemon hue. The bouquet is vibrant, an intoxicating assortment of tropical and citrus. Heady aromas of passionfruit and pineapple flirt temptingly against a backdrop of grapefruit, green apple, lemon peel and a hint of gunflint. The mouthfeel is textured yet precise, with a rousing whip of acidity and simmering phenolics that give the wine increased structure and length. A complex and serious Sauvignon Blanc, displaying intense varietal character, a multi- faceted palate, and a long salivating finish.

On the palate, this wine reveals itself as a masterful play between savoury and sweeter fruit elements. Earthy forest floor flavours provide a grounding base, brambles and cola notes weave their way. Cherries and mulberries emerge, blending seamlessly with clove spice. This Pinot Noir boasts impressive length on the palate, where toasted chestnuts and pine nuts impart a subtle richness to the flavour profile. Lively quartz-like acidity punctuates each sip, ensuring vibrancy throughout; meanwhile, silky tannins contribute to a smooth mouthfeel.

Bin 28 offers a showcase of warm climate Australian Shiraz - ripe, robust, and generously flavoured. First made in 1959, Bin 28 is a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend, with the Barossa Valley always well represented. The 2023 vintage eloquently expresses Penfolds House Style, balancing fruit intensity with a structure poised for ageing. This makes it both an immediate pleasure and a candidate for cellaring, promising to evolve with complexity over time. Blue fruits instantly emerge, specifically elderberries, blueberries, and bilberries. Poached plums merge with the exotic spiciness of cassia bark, imparting rich flavours. A hint of meat adds depth and character to the profile. The mouthfeel is sculpted by chocolate powder tannins, which are luxurious and precise, lending a structure that is both assertive and velvety. Also present is the umami complexity of tomato consommé, enriched with piquant olive tapenade. The palate is further textured by a ferrous minerality.

Bin 389 is often referred to as 'Baby Grange', in part because components of the wine are matured in the same barrels that held the previous vintage of Grange. Exemplifying the judicious balance of fruit and oak, Bin 389 highlights the generous mid-palate Penfolds is known for. The 2023 release leaves a lasting impression of power and elegance - layered and balanced, with rich dark fruits, supple tannins, and a long, savoury finish. A thoughtful blend of varietals. The inclusion of Cabernet Sauvignon provides impeccable structure and depth. Supporting this foundation, Shiraz adds weight and warmth. Red fruits flood the palate, with vibrant flavours of red currant and tart cranberry. The sweetness of vanilla runs throughout the wine, while mouth-coating tannins create a rich, full-bodied texture. Savoury flavours of black olive emerge, accompanied by a blend of orange zest, fennel, and olive.
