Kumeu River Wines and the owners, the Brajkovich family, are icons of the New Zealand wine industry. This is the entry level Chardonnay, which consistently over delivers for the incredibly modest price charged. It's smooth, nutty, dry and fresh with savoury elements derived from fermentation.

An intense vinous bouquet is typical of this wine, as well as lively red colour, balanced notes and dry, savoury and slightly tannic flavours.

The wine comes from the purest grape juice and it alone allows Laurent-Perrier to craft La Cuvée, a champagne of great finesse and a beautiful freshness obtained after a long ageing process in their cellars. LP's style and personality are defined by its very high proportion of Chardonnay. Purity, freshness and elegance - essential characteristics, expressed in this champagne.
