An intense vinous bouquet is typical of this wine, as well as lively red colour, balanced notes and dry, savoury and slightly tannic flavours.

The wine comes from the purest grape juice and it alone allows Laurent-Perrier to craft 'La Cuvée', a champagne of great finesse and a beautiful freshness obtained after a long ageing process in their cellars. Laurent-Perrier's style and personality are defined by its very high proportion of Chardonnay. You read Chianti, and you think of the hills, villages, parish churches and farmhouses where time has stood still since the peak era of beauty and taste, keeping them intact and authentic. This Chianti has a deep ruby colour, with reasonable depth and 'legs' indicating good structure. Perfumes of cherries and fresh red fruit, mingle with spicy, peppery notes. Lively and fresh in the mouth, with soft, rounded tannins. Good intensity, attractive structure and fine, long length.
