Deep garnet red in colour, it reveals rich aromas of dried fruit, dark chocolate, tobacco and spice, leading into a warm, velvety palate layered with noble tannins and exceptional complexity. Monumental yet refined, it finishes long and smooth - perfect alongside braised meats, game, aged cheeses or savoured slowly on its own.

The grapes for this prestigious Primitivo do not get harvested once ripe, but are left on the vine so that their ripening can go on. After about 15 days, grapes are over-ripened and dry out directly on the vine, giving a Primitivo with a complex bouquet of red fruits, raisins and clear hints of marasca cherry. Aged in barriques this Primitivo Appassimento Rinforzato is a wine which remains in your memory for its strong character and great personality.

Man O' War Island Blend is a Bordeaux style wine and is a blend of fruit from both Waiheke Island and its neighbouring Ponui Island. The blend is predominantly Cabernet Franc from their Paradise vineyard on Ponui Island with Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot coming from sites nestled in the sheltered valleys of Eastern Waiheke Island. Rich, ripe wine with sweet red berry fruit framed by chocolate and spice. The palate is softly textured with fine ripe tannins making for a decadent expression of a Cabernet Franc dominated blend.
