A traditionally wine oak matured Grenache that has been enhanced by partial maturation in oak barrels that previously held aged Scotch Whisky. This unique, double barrel process instils palate richness and complexity. A Grenache that has been made to deliver a richer, deeper, and smoother palate.

Jacob's Creek Double Barrel Shiraz is matured first in traditional wine barrels before being finished in aged Scotch whisky barrels. Crafted from superior quality grapes sourced from the Limestone Coast, this wine is first matured in traditional oak before undergoing finishing in aged Scotch whisky barrels. This Double Barrel technique builds deep layers of complexity, yielding enticing aromas of toffee and honeycomb alongside a palate of dark chocolate, rich cassis, and waffle-cone vanilla. Finished with silky, mouth-filling tannins, it is the ultimate companion for hearty, flame-cooked dishes like slow-roasted beef ribs or marinated BBQ lamb.
