Mt Difficulty is a boutique winery located in Bannockburn, Central Otago, and was named after the mountain overlooking Felton road and the southern Cromwell basin. As the vineyards are ageing Mt Difficulty are starting to see additional complexity emerging each vintage. Inviting and opulent, the palate is flush with sweet cherry & blueberry, followed by trademark earth & savoury notes and framed by baking spice and fine grained French Oak. The fruit floods through to the finish with a juicy balance, indicating acidity that will keep the wine aging well.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. The addition of fruit from their Bendigo vineyard has lends a powerful, darker edge. Roaring Meg Pinot Noir features red, blue and black berry fruit aromatics. The palate is harmonious with rich dark berries and a savoury line underneath. A hint of spice and dried thyme complement the succulent fruit. Fine silky tannins frame the wine with a great flow and finish.

Ghost Town Syrah is handcrafted in very limited quantities. Blackcurrant raspberry and sandalwood notes sit alongside cassia bark and sweetly scented spice elements in the background

Dark cherry and wild berry with lashings of savoury brown spice, whilst lavender floral notes add in detail and brightness. Dense, tight, dark berry notes lead into a compact palate. The wine finishes with savoury structural tannins enveloping the wine. Dark cherry flavours flow right through the structure and finish the wine with a flourish.

A vibrant bouquet of black cherry and wild herb give way to a supple palate. Flavours of cherry and sweet brown spice are supported by finely textured tannins leading to a long, satisfying finish.

Deep purple in colour. Classic aromas of lifted blackcurrant, blackberry and mint on the nose. Flavours follow through of sweet berry-fruit accented by fresh muddled mint. Elegant, structured palate with big velvety tannins.

A juicy and enticing Pinot Noir from Central Otago. Aromas of bold cherry and fresh red berries are underpinned by savoury notes and spicy oak. Dark fruit flavours flow into a smooth palate, delivering a long finish with fine tannins and juicy acidity.

Classic Merlot aromas of decadent plum and dark cherry are complemented by hints of spiced fruit cake and mocha. The palate is medium-bodied and full of blackcurrant, liquorice and dried herb, supported by fine tannins for a soft, concentrated finish. Sourced from carefully selected vineyards in the Hawke's Bay, the oldest wine region in New Zealand.

Muddy Water's Sans wines are made without the addition of any sulphur, as a nod to the 'sans soufre' wines they love from France. This Pinot Noir is intensely scented with rich and vivid fruits leading through to a full and flavoursome palate. Dark cherry, cassis and a vibrant mix of berries flows through the wine. Chalky with energetic fruit tannins and long juicy finish.

A beautifully perfumed nose packed with wild red and black berry fruits, toasted brown cooking spices and lifted floral notes, layered over a subtle earthy background. The palate is juicy and lively up front, brimming with red cherry, plum, lightly roasted coffee beans and just a hint of sweet baking spice. A streak of fine acidity brightens the mid palate, blending seamlessly with fine powdery tannins to lift the palate towards a satisfying elegant finish.

Lifted aromas of plums and black cherries with hints of violets and white pepper. The generous palate has dark berry fruit flavours of blackberry and plum, complimented by soft, supple tannins with hints of chocolate and spice.
