Sourced from premium vineyards across South Australia, the wine is known for its full-flavoured style with excellent Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, firm yet well-rounded structure and balanced oak. Made as a traditional 'Australian blend', the Shiraz component provides fleshy fruit flavour while Cabernet Sauvignon provides a frame of fine grained tannins. Inspired by the people and moments that shaped Peter Lehmann's remarkable life, The Master's Collection Eight Songs Shiraz pays tribute to one of his favourite musical works, 'Eight Songs for a Mad King'. Crafted as a distinctive expression of Barossa Shiraz and matured for 18 months in French oak, this elegant wine offers fragrant aromas of satsuma plum, blueberry and cedar. A richly textured palate of ripe plum and dark chocolate unfolds into a long, savoury finish, creating a wine of depth, character and lasting appeal.

This wine displays a bright brick red colour, lovely Shiraz spice, plum and red cherries with a hint of ripe apricot. The palate exhibits lovely spicy red fruits, coupled with ripe tannins and enhanced by medium toasted oak.
